Sales Executive

We are requiring the services of a Sales Executives for our Johannesburg (Modderfontein), Durban (Pinetown) and Port Elizabeth branches.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with exceptional communication and organisational skills in order to deal with both corporate and industrial clients. Applicants should be target driven, dynamic and possess excellent sales, customer service and business skills.

• A minimum 3 years proven experience in cold calling, client retention, managing accounts and preparing sales presentations and quotes within the road freight courier and logistics industry essential. A basic understanding of freight processes is essential in this position.
• The ability to develop new business through cold calling and prospecting to meet targets in this highly pressurized position
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships at all levels, and facilitate all customer queries and problems.
• The successful candidate will have strong administration skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Exceptional analytical skills required for calculation of rates & quotations, monitoring rates and communicating increases.
• A valid unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license is essential.

The key duties of the successful candidate are Sales Generation, Customer Care, Expense Control and Administration. The performance of the successful candidate will be closely monitored in his/her ability to reach his/her sales target.
